How to register the customs declaration by yourself?
If you do not want to make use of our customs declaration service, you may also fill out the forms by yourself. In this case you will need the delivery documents of the parcel: parcel registration card, notice of arrival of parcel and a document in proof of the parcel’s value. We will send you these documents by e-mail.
You may pick up your goods at the post office closest to your residential address or they may be delivered to you by courier on the day after customs clearance, at the latest. Upon the delivery of the parcel, present the printout of the customs declaration.
If you do the declaration by yourself, you may select one of the three following options: electronic declaration, presentation of traveller’s declaration with digital signature and registration of the customs declaration at a customs office.
How to register the declaration electronically?
In order to fill out the declaration form electronically, enter the e-tax board (e-maksuamet). You will find the instructions for filling out the declaration form on the homepage of the Estonian Tax and Customs Board. After the customs declaration has been filled out, send it in the „goods freed" condition in .pdf format to the e-mail address of [email protected] .
How to register a traveller’s declaration with a digital signature?
You may present a traveller’s declaration with a digital signature for a postal consignment of which the value is up to 1000 Euros and the total weight of which is less than 1000 kilograms. Present the traveller’s declaration with a digital signature by sending it to the e-mail address of: [email protected].
How to register a declaration at the customs office?
If the value of the postal consignment is up to 1000 Euros and the weight is less than 1000 kilograms, then you may also register the traveller’s declaration in person at the closest customs office. When you go to the customs office, take along the delivery documents of the parcels and make sure that at the customs office the notification on the arrival of the parcel will be marked as “goods freed”.
