Parcel machine SOS

  • What should I do if the screen of a parcel machine does not react?

There may be some dirt on the edges of the screen. Wiping the edges with something handy might help. A tissue would be suitable. In wintertime, the snow fallen on the screen can be wiped away with a glove.
Please note that the sensors are located on the edges of the screen, so make sure to clean these areas.

If the sun is shining directly onto the screen, try to hide it from direct sunlight – you can even stand so that you block the sun or shade the screen with a hand. A friend with a broad back would come in handy as well.

Did you know that you do not have to take off your gloves to use our parcel machine? When it’s cold outside, you can send a parcel or take it out of the locker without any worries with your gloves on, not letting the cold bite you.

  • What should I do if the code of the parcel machine is incorrect?

It should be remembered that Omniva parcel machine codes always have six digits. Please check if you are entering the door code, not a parcel number. Use the screen of the parcel machine to enter your code.
It is also worth checking if you are using the correct parcel machine.

What to do if the parcel machine does not issue a sticker or if I forgot to put it on the parcel?

There is no need to worry – open the door of the locker and place the parcel inside without a sticker. Not placing a sticker does not prevent the parcel from reaching its destination – our delivery person will add the necessary sticker for you and deliver the parcel. However, it is worth keeping in mind that this recommendation does not apply to our business clients.

  • Register the parcel in our e-service

The most convenient way is to preregister your parcel in our e-service, saving you time at the parcel machine on registering and paying, and enabling you to send the parcel straight away.

You can fill and print out an address card in the e-service, and glue or tape it to the parcel. If you do not have a printer you can have the parcel code sent to your phone via SMS and print the card from the parcel machine (or post office).

When registering a parcel in the e-service you can choose some additional services that cannot be selected from parcel machines – careful handling service and an SMS notification when the parcel is received by the recipient.
You can also have the parcel code sent to your e-mail or phone to easily forward this information to the recipient.
